Principle of LED dimmer
LED dimmer is an essential part of modern lamps, it is by adjusting the size of the power supply voltage, to adjust the brightness of LED lights. The principle of LED dimmer
The principle of the LED dimmer is to change the brightness of the output by adjusting the DC power supply voltage of the lamp. Since the LED lamp is a direct current powered light source, it is necessary to change the voltage of its direct current power supply during use to control the brightness of the LED light source.
The circuit of LED lamps includes three core components, namely power supply, constant current source and LED light source itself. The power supply provides the corresponding voltage to drive the LED light source, while the constant current source ensures the stability of the LED light source by keeping the current flowing through the LED unchanged. Therefore, the main task of the dimmer is to adjust the power supply voltage, which affects the brightness of the LED light source. Dimmer generally through three methods to achieve LED power supply voltage regulation: PWM modulation, voltage modulation and constant current modulation.
1. PWM modulation
PWM modulation is one of the most commonly used LED dimmer regulation methods. This adjustment mode switches the power supply voltage at a certain frequency and controls the occupation ratio of the power supply voltage in each cycle, thereby affecting the brightness of the LED lamp. Dynamic dimming can be achieved through PWM modulation, as well as to meet different lighting needs.
2. The cooperative working mode between LED dimmer and LED lighting

1. PWM modulation
In PWM modulation mode, the brightness of LED light is controlled by adjusting the duty cycle of power supply voltage. The adjustment signal between the two is usually based on digital signal, which can realize remote control and dimming.
